Easy OpenVPN

Connecting to a web page through a VPN server is the best way to keep your identity safe and to bypass region or country-related restrictions. Easy OpenVPN allows you to connect to any VPN server, from anywhere in the world. You just need to provide a few details and the application will secure your connection right away.

The software is available for Windows and Mac users and it takes about a minute to install it. The setup process is straightforward and you will not spend too much time following the wizard's instructions, but you will have to wait until it installs an additional driver.

You can let Easy OpenVPN work in the background and click its system tray icon when you need to select a different server, add a new one or make other configurations. To connect to a server, it is sufficient to select it from a pop-up menu, after clicking the system tray icon. If you want to define new servers or adjust the application's behavior, you must bring up its tabbed configurations panel.

Setting up a new connection involves typing or pasting a server's address, providing a user name and a password and selecting a CA certificate file. It is also possible to select private key and user certificate files, instead of typing a username and a password.

Additionally, you can make a series of advanced configurations to individual connections. The software allows you to use custom gateway ports, enable LZO data compression, use TCP connections, TAP devices and more. It is also possible to route a connection through a network of your choice. If you want to use script files, you can set Easy OpenVPN to run them before or after it connects or during the connection.
